Counselling in Brighton & Hove
Most of us, at some point in our lives, feel that we are going through a "rough patch" and are experiencing difficulties or problems. At times such as these, it is not always possible, nor appropriate, to get the support that we need from our friends or family. It can sometimes be helpful to speak with a qualified and experienced counsellor who will listen, attempt to understand us and provide the space to explore our feelings and concerns around the issues which may be troubling us.
I am a post-graduate qualified counsellor practising in Brighton and Hove and am committed to providing effective counselling in a safe, confidential, supportive and non-judgemental environment.
I work with individual clients on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
I have experience of helping clients who are trying to cope with:
stress
relationship issues
anxiety
anger
change and loss
work issues, redundancy and career development
depression
drug and alcohol dependency and misuse
issues around sexuality and gender
HIV
debt
My practice is based in Kemp Town, Brighton (close to the Royal Sussex County Hospital), with easy access to public transport and car parking.
Appointments are charged at £40 per hour.
I offer an introductory session, FREE of charge, as an opportunity for us to meet and discuss what you hope to achieve from counselling and help you to decide whether my approach is appropraite for you.
I understand that it can sometimes be difficult to "take the first step" and approach a counsellor. Rest assured that I will do everything possible to put you at ease. Please give me a call on 01273 454903 or 07702 818017 to book an initial appointment or discuss whether my approach to counselling is suitable for you.
